Dallas was united in marriage with Nancy Wall Trautsch on June 26, 1987, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Prairie du Chien. He was a true river rat, making a living as a commercial fisherman, trapper and clammer. He designed and carved his own decoys. Dallas enjoyed his daily coffee with friends, painting, hunting for ginseng, coon hunting and attending flea markets and auctions. He enjoyed his daily walks with Lisa and Kit Lessard’s dog Sally Jo. Dallas was a very loving and caring husband, father and grandfather.
