Dale Samuel Barrette, 70, died unexpectedly on Jan. 8, 2016 in Burke Township Madison.

He was born on Dec. 31, 1945 in Prairie du Chien, the son of Arthur and Laura (West) Barrette. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He loved old ford trucks especially F100 trucks and belonged to the Badgerland F100 Truck Club of Wisconsin. After retiring he worked for Evansville Towing helping out when needed. Dale will be fondly remembered by his willingness to help friends. His kind and genuine heart was too big for his chest, so he had to carry it upon his sleeve.
